  • How long have you been an intern at Datarwe?

Almost ten weeks now. I commenced my intern at Datarwe on the 20 July, 2020 and expected to end on the 24 Sept, 2020.

  • What is your internship project about?  😉

The project that I worked on during my internship is to

  • compile the data of ICU medical equipment in Queensland
  • refine the ICU inventory list
  • create a lookup table

to help the Datarwe team on

  • identifying which medical equipment that they will focus on
  • easily mapping out those devices within Queensland

 

  • Are you currently studying, what are you studying?

I am currently on my second year studying at the Central Queensland University and undertaking a Master of Management for Engineers.

  • What is your favourite thing about working at Datarwe?

I love the interpersonal communication and teamwork performed by the staff. The team always encourage one another and praise each other’s work.

  • What is the most important skill you have gained from your internship?

There are several academically and practically skills aquired from my internship but two of the skills which I improved from the manager’s persective are the ​communication and networking skill.

  • What do you have in store beyond your internship?

The internship has allowed me to enter a very different working environment. Fortunately, I have been able to adapt myself to this new environment and enjoyed been an intern in Datarwe. I have developed soft skills during my internship which I am sure it will increase my capability and work competence in my careerpath. I am now more confident to resume my work as a manager.
